Collection of User Data
This app collects location data to track the location of delivery drivers/orders, even when the app is closed or not in use. The location information is used to trigger geo-fencing for the purposes of detecting the start and end of a delivery. Location tracking is required for the entire delivery route, so background location tracking is necessary to allow alternate app access without tracking interruption. Tracking is turned on when the driver starts their work day and turns off when the driver finishes their work day. This app also collects this device's phone number and account password for login purposes, as well as to validate the user is a Panago Driver.
User Access
In order to access and use the content, features, or functionality of this App, you must have a unique username and password and provide certain additional information, which may include, without limitation, your phone number and email (collectively, a "User Account"). You are responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your User Account credentials ("User Credentials"), and you shall be responsible and liable for any access to or use of this App by you or any person or entity using your User Credentials, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by you or on your behalf. You agree to immediately notify Panago Pizza of any unauthorized use of your User Credentials or User Account, or any other breach of security. It is your sole responsibility to (i) control the dissemination and use of your User Credentials and User Account, (ii) update, maintain and control access to your User Credentials and User Account, and (iii) cancel your User Account. Panago Pizza reserves the right to deny access, use and registration privileges to any User of this App if we believe there is a question or concern about the identity of the person trying to access any account or element of this App. Panago Pizza shall not be responsible or liable for any loss that you incur as a result of someone else using your User Account or User Credentials.
Driving Warning
This app should not be used while operating a vehicle. All app users must adhere to all safe driving laws in their specific location.
Compliance
By using this App, you represent, warrant and covenant that: (a) you are 18 years of age or older; (b) that you shall comply with all of the terms and conditions set forth herein; and (c) all information you submit for your User Account is truthful and accurate and that you shall maintain and promptly update the accuracy of such information, as applicable. If you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Panago Pizza suspects that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Panago Pizza has the right to suspend or terminate your account (in whole or in part) and/or refuse any and all current or future use of this App (or any portion thereof) by you, in its sole discretion, with or without notice to you, and without liability or obligation to you or any third party.
PRIVACY POLICY
At Panago Pizza, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information that you entrust to us in accordance with the BC Personal Information Protection Act. Our Privacy Policy describes the type of information we collect, how we use that information, and the security measures that we put in place to protect it. We also outline how to contact us should you have any questions about our Privacy Policy or if you wish to remove your personal information from our customer database.
WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DOES PANAGO COLLECT?
By using this App, you acknowledge that we collect the personal information that is required to help process and fulfill pizza orders. This personal information includes your name, phone number, and the details of the Panago products and services you are delivering. This information also includes your current location, to be used by the customer to see where their order is during delivery.
Location Information
We also collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you enable us to do so.
This data is only detected, recorded, and collected during your shift.
We collect this data from the time delivery is started until it is finished. This data is collected when the App is in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (App open but not on screen).
We also collect geo-fencing information, for the purposes of detecting the order leaving the store area, as well as detecting the order entering the customer’s delivery address area. This data is collected when the App is in the foreground (App open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on screen).
HOW IS THIS INFORMATION USED?
Your personal information is stored in our database to help us serve our customers by providing the location of their order during the delivery. We recognize that there are important order and delivery details we need to make note of to ensure we can continually serve our customers better.
Your location data is used and viewed by the customer, to see where their order is during the delivery. Your location data is only shared with the customer during your delivery, and is stored securely in our databases afterwards. After the delivery is complete, the customer is not able to view your location anymore, and they are not able to see the route you took either.
STORAGE, SECURITY AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:
We retain your personal information in our database and we utilize security measures to keep your information safe. We will not share or sell any of your personal information to another company, with the exception of companies that we partner with to manage any of the tasks described within this policy. Any company that we partner with has an obligation to keep the information completely confidential and will not use or disclose your information for any purpose other than those identified in this policy.
Any communication between the app and the server is done using modern cryptography via HTTPS. All communication is encrypted and used securely.
REMOVAL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Personal information is retained in our database for drivers who have delivered orders in the last 24 months, after which it is permanently deleted.
